bulletIncome Eligibility Guidelines The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has issued the following income eligibility guidelines for the periods of time as noted on each chart.

      UPDATE 8-2-10: Income Eligibility Guidelines for Free and Reduced-Price School Meals Eligibility
      In making eligibility determinations based on income for free and reduced price meals for School Year 2010-11, schools and institutions should continue to utilize the 2009-2010 Income Eligibility Guidelines.  The 2009-2010 Income Eligibility Guidelines will remain in place for the duration of this current school year; no new income eligibility guidelines will be released.  Such determinations shall be effective from the date of approval through the remainder of the current school year and up to 30 operating days into next school year (2011-2012).

The following reimbursement rates are issued by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). The rates are prescribed on an annual basis each July for schools, child care institutions and day care homes, and each January for the summer program.
