Child Nutrition Reauthorization

Support SNA Child Nutrition Reauthorization Priorities

SNA has identified four priority issues for Congress to consider during the 2009 Child Nutrition Reauthorization. These priority issues are:

Funding to expand program access and update the federal reimbursement rates as proposed by the President;

Enacting the Harkin/Woolsey bills, S. 934 and H.R. 1324;

Establishing a consistent national application of the Dietary Guidelines for Americans for school meals; and

Defining what expenses can be paid for with the funds appropriated for school meals.
